Once mighty UK music magazine NME begs to differ, but for my money, Gossip‘s “Move In The Right Direction” isn’t only one of the best songs on the band’s new album, A Joyful Noise, it’s also one of the very best tracks released this year.

With “Move In The Right Direction” serving as the album’s second single, Gossip commissioned remixes of the song, as the trio has regularly done in the past. Streaming here and there for a month now, the results haven’t exactly been kept under wraps, but now they’ve conveniently been collected for free download below.

Joining forces with Australian DJ Kaz James and UK DJ/producer Seamus Haji (who also remixed the trio’s previous single, “Perfect World”), Beth Ditto & Co. beckon you to move in the direction of the dancefloor.

CSS has also remixed “Move In The Right Direction,” with the Brazilian rockers’ revamp dangled as incentive for signing up for the band’s email list. Absolutely worth it, in case you’re wondering.
