Track of the Moment

Give Me All Your LMFAO

On second thought, please don’t.

But against my better judgment, I must say that I’m very much enjoying LMFAO‘s remix of Madonna’s new single, “Give Me All Your Luvin’.” The release follows on the heels of Redfoo and SkyBlu (really with those names) popping up during her Super Bowl halftime performance for a bit of shufflin’. Letting loose in that goofy moment on the world’s biggest stage, Madonna looked like she was having the time of her life.

LMFAO’s Party Rock Remix of “Give Me All Your Luvin'” still sports Nicki Minaj’s rap, while M.I.A.’s brief bit has been given the boot. Her absence, of course, has zero to do with the alt-pop rebel-rouser putting a bird on it for 114 million viewers, and everything to do with making room for Redfoo and SkyBlue to add their signature style to the track.

While LMFAO gets the honor of delivering the first official remix of “Give Me All Your Luvin’,” it’s not the last. Remixes are also reportedly on the way from Oliver Twizt, Laidback Luke, and Nicky Romero.

In other Madonna news, she’s announced the dates for her 2012-2020 World Tour (cities and onsale information here). There’s a ton of chatter about how expensive tickets are, but the cost for seats to her last three or four jaunts weren’t exactly bargain rates so I don’t see what’s new here. When Madonna comes to town, the cost is sort of immaterial, girl.
