I admit I’m still a little miffed that Australia received a full-length version of Wynter Gordon‘s With The Music I Die, while we’ve got to make do with a 6-track EP, of which two are mixes.
Following up “Til Death,” Gordon continues in chronological order for single number two, “Buy My Love.” The music video for the bubbly “Buy My Love” is lensed like some lightweight ’80s comedy in which she commandeers a vintage clothing store and catches the eye of a young man. Cue the dressing-room montage!
There’s not a bum track among the four original versions on Gordon’s With The Music I Die, though the best remains the sparkling “Still Getting Younger.” I’m hoping the song gets its moment to shine in time.
Purchase Wynter Gordon – With The Music I Die EP, which includes an extended mix of “Buy My Love,” via iTunes.
