After previewing new single, “Hear Me Now,” via a remix featured in a Sonya Tayeh routine on So You Think You Can Dance last month, Steed Lord have released an EP for the track and a new music video.
Unashamedly partial to sad-disco pop, the cool, melancholic sheen of “Hear Me Now” has to be my favorite Steed Lord track yet. Frontwoman Kali is absolutely stunning in the music video, directed by bandmate Einar “Mega” Egilsson and choreographed by Tayeh. Of Kali’s multiple, inspired looks in the clip, top prize goes to either ‘Poolside Gloria Swanson’ or ‘Mountainside Stevie Nicks.’
Free download of Steed Lord – “Hear Me Now” (Extended Video Mix) via their Facebook page. Purchase the “Hear Me Now” EP via iTunes, Bandcamp.
