What becomes of the brokenhearted? Well, for a lucky few in Avril Lavigne‘s new video for “Smile,” the newly single singer (she and hubby Deryck Whibley divorced last November) comes by to pick up the pieces so you can turn that frown upside down.
“Smile” is the second single from Lavigne’s new album, Goodbye Lullaby, and like previous hit, “What The Hell,” Lavigne has a co-write with Max Martin and Shellback. Tailoring the song to her pop persona and setting it apart from Martin-Shellback productions for, say, Britney Spears, Lavigne swears three times within the first 30 seconds of “Smile.”
Purchase Avril Lavigne – “Smile” via iTunes, Amazon MP3.
