I really need to check my e-mail more often. Just read that Keane‘s new disc, Perfect Symmetry, is available from Amazon’s MP3 store for just $2.99. But the offer ends today!
I’ve been listening to Perfect Symmetry all weekend (I picked up the two-disc deluxe edition with demo tracks), and am mostly happy with the band’s push into new musical frontiers. Keane is clearly digging The Killers’ brand of retro synth rock (“Again and Again”), though the piano bits we’ve come to love and expect are never entirely absent. There’s even a surprising saxophone appearance on track “Pretend That You’re Alone.”
For just about three bucks, you can judge it all for yourself. The offer expires today, Monday, 10/20, so click here to grab Perfect Symmetry for just 2.99.
