Following the release of second single “Judas” earlier today, Lady Gaga has gone one step further, also revealing the cover for her Born This Way album. (Hey, if you’ve got the spotlight, might as well use it.)

What’s the message here, exactly — Gaga as Transformer? Her disembodied head, the motorcycle, and the metallic font are giving off a hard-rock vibe. There are heavier moments in “Judas,” for sure, so how the cover relates to the rest of what’s on the set is intriguing. Maybe “Born This Way” is the odd song out?
Born This Way arrives May 23. (Unless, you know, the Interweb gets up to its usual tricks before then).
