What’s red, black, and pink all over? The cover to Madonna’s upcoming opus, Hard Candy (shown in all of its high-gloss goodness above).

The newly minted Hall of Famer says the title of her 11th studio album represents a “juxtaposition of tough and sweetness—kind of like I’m gonna kick your ass but it’s going to make you feel good. And of course, I love candy.”

So might we label this latest incarnation Ultimate Fighter Madonna? I expect she’ll be champion of the charts, debuting at #1 when Hard Candy comes out on April 29th.

As for lead single, “4 Minutes,” featuring Justin Timberlake, MTV has a peek at the cover art. While Madonna looks fantastic (she turns 50 in August), Justin has taken far better photos. Bringing sexy back? By all means. But the Caesar cut?
